My "NEW" Tattoo .......

***I know not everyone is into TATTOOs.
So if you are one who are not, and one who will and might get offended,
just stop reading.***

When I was younger,
Really young, before the age I can call myself an adult.
I wanna have tattoos because I saw my peers having it,
and I'm like
" I GOT TO HAVE IT TOO!"
And the thing is, when you are too young to make decisions for yourself,
you just go with what other told you.
And that was what I did.
I don't know what got into me then, because the tattoo that was done,
was not what I really like.
I don't even like it.
Because I was RUSHED into doing it...
God.
I end up having to live with it,
for the rest of my life!

I hated it.
Whenever I wanna dress up, I make sure it's covered.
I am conscious of it because I hated it.
Throughout the years, I know I wanted to get it done up nicely.
But I never have the courage to.
I procrastinated and procrastinated....

Until one day,
I was on my bed ... thinking about the things that I have yet to achieve in life, and the things I badly wanna change...
My tattoo came first into my mind!
I decided to wait no more.
I Google for tattoo artists and their art pieces, knowing clearly what style I want...

Found a female tattoo artist,
told her what size I wanted,
and the kind of style I want my tattoo to be......
I also Google for some art pieces and sent it to her...
So after a few msges,
She came up with this for me!

I love it right away!!

What it's like on my body before the Ink session starts.

My friend came along with me,
to give me moral support and helped me to take photos and videos :)
video

And after 3 hours
I am really happy with it!
Like finally, I got it done up,
and it's pretty!
I have another session to go, to color the tattoo up.

My kids asked me,
why I want to get tattoos done.
I told them when I was younger, I didn't know what I was doing and I regretted it.
I can't turn bk to erase it, except to laser it, or go bigger.
And I told them,
Tattoo is forever. Once it's done, it's done.
You can only Laser it (painful and scarring), or go bigger (painful)... So must always always think wisely....
I know they might not understand now,
But I will make sure I guide them along in life.. to not make the same mistakes which I made.
Whatever it is,
I am still the 24/7 mummy to them
;)

***
If you are wondering who my tattoo artist is,
here>
.

Can't wait to start the next session
(excited and scare),
& I can't wait to see how the finished piece will look like.

My Fav.Double eyelids stickers :)

Hello all :)
I'm back to update you with my absolute fav. double eyelids stickers :)
(I have many photos in my external hard disk but sadly, I have yet to be able to access to it. So I have to extract some from my social media platforms and the resolution of the photos are not very good. So bear with me...)

I am born with single, monolids.
Sometimes my eyelids are single, sometimes they become mono,
and then sometimes, they become triple lids.
Haha
My eyelids have their own say on what they wanna be.
I am not daring enough to go under the knife for any cosmetics surgery as I know once it's done,
there's nothing I can do to revert back.
Unless I continue to do to correct it.
Just like tattoo.....
(which now I'm adding on more designs to cover up the old tattoo)
So in-order to have them go according to the lids that I want, I have to rely on double eyelids stickers.

I have tried many different kinds of double eyelids stickers,
single side, double sided,
Even this highly raved one>
(IMO, this makes my barely there monolids hidden, and made my eyes look smaller).
.

One day,
I went window shopping at DAISO, and came out with these.
Usually from DAISO,
I will go to the double eyelids stickers & fake lashes section to see see look look and buy some to try...
If it's good, I will go back for more.
If not, it's just $2.

These 2 double eyelids stickers are AMAZING!!!
(sorry no more photos of how the eyelids stickers look like for this packaging as I have already used them all up)

I have never come across one which will stay on my eyelids the whole freaking day,
and still be on my eyelids even after I remove my eyes make up with oil based remover, and after washing my face.

I've just opened this pink packaging and this is how the stickers look like.
It's single side.

On my eyelids,
it's barely visible.....
I really really really love it.
The only downside is, once you try to adjust the eyelids stickers after you have them stick on, they become visible, and not that sticky anymore to give the support the height of your eyelids.
HATE myself for not getting more then.
Now I can't manage to find it at the DAISO outlets I went to
:(

Anyway,
I have shared my fav double eyelids stickers with you!
Hope you'll be able to find it,
&love it as much as I do.

BRAND’S... #LISTENTOYOURBODY

I think what many don’t realize is that life as a mum is really really HECTIC!
It might usually seem pretty easy and having a helper/maid will lessen ur workload, but that is usually not really the case.
My life revolves around my 3 kids,
from waking up every 2-3 hourly during the night to latch my baby girl, to waking up at 6am to prepare my kids and drive them to school, to teaching them after they’re home from school, to driving them for enrichment classes, and the list goes on and on …
Not to mention there’s still an active toddler whom I have to run after.
From the moment I’m awake, I’m busy till tomorrow!
But don’t get me wrong, I’m actually not complaining!!
Instead, I am enjoying every bit of Motherhood and I couldn't imagine going through life without feeling that spectrum of emotion together with the kids.
There are of course good and bad days. Many people ask me how I manage, to be able to function well during the day when I barely have any sleep throughout the night, and be able to do what I need to do as a mum, and still be able to do breastfeeding for my baby.
Maybe the photos I’ve posted on my social media platforms made it seem like I’m juggling well with motherhood.

The truth is,
Raising 3 kids is hard work. Kids are, as we all know, noisy, messy and incredibly demanding and requires a lot of attention. And yes, without a doubt, I will lose my patience once in a while and the insufficient hours of  sleep I clock in everyday makes me feel fatigue  always.
I always feel dehydrated, forgetful and unable to focus.
My eyes get so dry that sometimes I get blur vision.
My body and back aches quite easily too.
All these are the signals my body is giving me, telling me that I’m not taking good care of my body!
And as age catches up it’s almost impossible  to not pay attention to these aches.
Please listen to your body and pay attention to all the signals your body is giving, because you only have one body to last you a life time.

So now, besides trying to have my meal regularly and having a balanced diet,
I exercise at any chance possible (running after my active 17 months old girl is very good exercise) and make sure I drink 1 Liter  of water everyday to keep myself hydrated.
As part of my daily health regime, I also consume a bottle of BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken daily!
I remember  back then when I was growing up, my mum would always prepare a bottle of BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken for me whenever I stayed up late to study to give me that extra boost of concentration!
I also consume a bottle before I go for my exams,  to reduce mental fatigue as well as improve my focus and concentration.

Back then during my confinement period after delivering my 3 babies,
I remember I was feeling all weak from delivery and with the lack of sleep as I had to wake up numerous times  to attend to a crying baby, which resulted in me feeling mentally and physically fatigue.
I took a bottle of BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken  for 30 days straight partly because I received  numerous BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken  as gifts.
That was the time when I really felt that BRAND’S®  Essence of Chicken has proven its magic and had made quite a significant difference in my life!

I felt so much more energized and not so tired all the time,
hence having more energy to do the things that I want and igniting that extra glow on my face as well.
As BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken is an all natural extract from quality chicken in concentrated form, it’s safe for me to consume even when I am breastfeeding.

I know despite all the wondeful benefits that BRAND’S®  Essence of Chicken provides,
most people still do not  have the habit of taking it frequently because of it’s taste!!
But fear not!!
As BRAND’S®  has made avaliable the BRAND’S®  Essence of Chicken with Vitamin B complex + Iron,
which is BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken in tablet format!!!

It’s super convenient as you can bring it with you on the go and it is easy  to consume in tablet form which and consists of 60 tablets per bottle.
So there’s now no excuses for you to not take better care of your body!
: )

Whether it’s just window shopping, doing your nails, reading a book or getting that well deserved sleep, try to put in time to do something that makes you feel good every once in awhile!

With BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken ,

“Let’s Defeat Breast Cancer. We’re Stronger Together.”

October, is the  Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
If you do not know,
Breast cancer is the number one cancer among Singaporean women!!!
Each year, over 1,600 women are diagnosed with breast cancer,
and this amount is scary!!!

I know I am guilty to say this,
for not taking better care of my health, and not going for the screenings needed regularly.
Women these days not only have to work, they also have to take care of their family!
Sometimes we get so busy that we neglect our health, and not vigilant enough to the signals our body is giving...
That we only go to the help needed when it's too late....
As a mum now, I know I have to take good care of myself so that I can take better care of my 3 kids.
I have make it a point to go for the screenings that I should be going regularly,
because,
like most Cancer,
Breast cancer is curable if detected early!!!
By going to screen ourselves regularly, breast cancer will be detected earlier and the chances of surviving the disease will be greatly enhanced.

Breastfeeding also lower the risk of getting Breast cancer!!
One of the reason why I'm still breastfeeding my baby girl for 17 months, and counting,
besides being able to give my child the best I can, I can also lower the risk of having Breast cancer :)

Also,
to prevent cancers, we can start with our diet.
Including more vegetables, fruits, whole grains,
and cutting down on meat and refined carbohydrates.
I used to love eating instant noodles, fast food, chips, sweet canned drinks....
All the mentioned are included in my everyday meal!
So can you imagine how much rubbish I'm putting into my body......
I know it's difficult to quit all of that once of for all, so I'm slowly eliminating these bad food from my life.
Besides starting from our diet, we can also include exercising into our busy schedule.
No excuse to not even do some light exercising,
Always wear sunblock, especially when you need to be outdoor
and go for vaccination required!

For the  month-long Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign in October,
we can "Wear the Pink Ribbon" to support this campaign, to promote breast cancer awareness, and to support fundraising.
A small portion of the total cost from the products that are emblazoned with pink ribbons, colored pink, will be donated to support breast cancer awareness or research...

Like fifteen of The Estée Lauder Companies' brands, joining together to raise funds for
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Including these products,

With the hasgtag > #BCAstrength‏
for every social media posting
The Estee Lauder Companies will donate $1 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) up to $22,000.

I have done mine :)
 You should too :)
